Thorpe A. Jacob, DMD

Thorpe A. Jacob, DMD, attended the University of Pittsburgh where he earned both a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Doctorate of Dental Medicine. He served our country for three years in the United State Navy, earning the rank of Lieutenant while providing dental care to our armed forces.

Dr. Jacob belongs to the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, World Clinical Laser Institute, Academy of Computerized Dentistry and the Academy of Laser Dentistry.

Dr. Jacob is certified by The American Orthodontic Society, Clinical Foundation of Orthopedics and Orthodontics and the American Society for Dental Aesthetics. He is additionally certified in Bone Biology, Harvesting and Grafting by The International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Dr. Jacob placed his first implant in 1990 and has now placed over 10,000 implants with a 10 year success rate over 90%.

Dr. Jacob enjoys playing golf, tennis, biking and reading. He has five children: Kathleen, Ann, Donnie, Thorpe Jr. and Allen.
