CEREC stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics. The restoration is completed in one visit, thereby eliminating the need for impressions or a second visit.

What is done at the appointment?

First the tooth is prepared. Next, a thin layer of reflective powder is applied to the tooth surface. A special camera takes a sharp optical impression of the tooth. Computer Aided Design technology helps us design your restoration from the digital impression. The CEREC then creates your ceramic restoration. We'll show you how the milling machine creates your custom restoration from a block of ceramic material.

Cerec one visit crowns: This crown is our namesake; in 2001 we had the idea to use the new computerized technology to offer one visit crowns at half the price of the industry standard. Within 5 years we had over 10,000 patients from 29 different states. Cerec is high quality very lifelike porcelain that is milled in about 20 minutes on site; there is no temporary or second appointment. You get your crowns, now!
